It indeed will never be the same...but these are the tragic cards the band were dealt...and rather than end it all, they are making lemonade out of the lemons...carrying on the best they can to keep the band (and The Rev's spirit) alive for THE FANS....I'm glad I can help them with that process...I am not trying to replace The Rev...I am merely trying to help them carry on....I believe the band has the ability to still achieve GREAT things and I am personally glad to see them carrying on (with all due respect to Jimmy)...Imagine if AC/DC stopped after Bon died and they never made Back In Black....or Metallica stopped after Cliff died and they never got to do everything they've done since 1986....

Roger is the co-author of "Full Metal Jackie Certified: The 50 Most Influential Heavy Metal Songs of the '80s and the True Stories Behind Their Lyrics". He is also the author of various CD liner notes, including the MΦTLEY CRάE box set "Music to Crash Your Car To, Volume 2".
