Avenged Sevenfold's New Album Is A "Nightmare"

Reuters recently spoke to M Shadows & Zacky Vengeance about touring their new album and their fan base. Below is a preview, check out the entire interview here:

"We're not sure what's going to happen after this touring cycle," says lead singer Matt Sanders, who goes by the stage name M. Shadows. "Our goal right now is to just get kids to hear the record, because we want them to remember the Rev."

Avenged Sevenfold's final album featuring Sullivan's writing, "Nightmare," will be released Tuesday on Warner Bros. (Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy played the drum parts Sullivan had written on the album and will tour with the band.)

Avenged Sevenfold Joins Rock Band DLC

Heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold joins Grammy award-winning Latin superstar Juanes’ debut as Rock Band DLC next week. The song pack will include the group’s title track from the album Nightmare, along with “Seize the Day” from City of Evil and “Scream” from Avenged Sevenfold.

Like Juanes, Avenged Sevenfold will also be featured in Rock Band 3′s on-disc track collection, releasing later this year. Head past the break if you juanes see next week’s DLC details.

Next week's Kerrang! coverstars Avenged Sevenfold will be previewing tracks from their forthcoming album, Nightmare, tonight on Kerrang! Radio.

Tune in this evening (Friday, July 23) from 9PM to hear an interview with frontman M. Shadows and a world exclusive first play of their 11 minute new epic, Save Me.

Kerrang! Radio is available on 105.2 FM in the West Midlands online at www.kerrangradio.co.uk and on Freeview and DAB digital radio.
