July 27th, 2010 is a big day for Avenged Sevenfold and us fans! After a long wait and a very difficult time for both the band and the fans, Avenged Sevenfold will release their fifth studio album "Nightmare".
Another great thing about July 27th, 2010? Our friends at Revolver Magazine will be releasing a Special Collector's Issue of their magazine:
The magazine above is the one that will be available on news stands and through their online store. But there is more. Revolver Magazine will also be releasing a Deluxe Box-Set for us fans.
The box-set will feature 7 different versions of the Avenged Sevenfold issue, featuring 7 different covers and a 15” x 21” double-sided poster. The box-set will come in a collector's box.
Only 1,000 copies are available of this box, so be sure to get your copy fast, as they are bound to sell out! The box-sets will be available for pre-order through the Revolver Magazine Webstore shortly. Stay tuned!
Last but not least, a preview of the covers in the box-set:
Our friend and chat moderator Jennifer went out the Hot Topic and found an Avenged Sevenfold "Nightmare" shirt - unisex - that is not available online. She took it upon herself to take some photos for us to share with you. Be sure to check out your nearest Hot Topic shop for this one!
We have taken down the video for "The Making Of Nightmare", as we were informed about the copyright infringement on the video. We hereby like to apologize to the rightful owner. We did not upload it to YouTube, we simply shared it with our visitors until we were asked not to.
The magazine "Rockin' On" will feauture an interview with M Shadows. The magazine will be for the month September and should be out in stores on August 1st. Source
Avenged Sevenfold will be featured in "GrindHouse Magazine", issue number 61. This should be in stores July 31st. Source
Last but not least, there is an interview with Zacky Vengeance on the "Geki Rock" website, where they talk about the album, touring and more. We might have the interview available in English soon, if our friends from Deathbat-JP are able to translate it for us :) The interview can be found here.
A big thank you to Heather from Deathbat-JP for passing this all on to us!
Larry Jacobson took to his Twitter to post the following update:
So to answer all the emails I've been getting; yes, the band will be doing a European tour, it will start after the UK tour ends, which is November 7th, so I'm guessing dates will be announced very soon.
Avenged Sevenfoldhas uploaded the unedited version of "Nightmare" for all of us to see. This video is available worldwide, unlike the MTV video, which ended up not working in some countries.
Avenged Sevenfoldposted the following note on their Facebook page, regarding the "Nightmare" video:
We feel horrible that some fans outside of the US are unable to watch the video for Nightmare online. We understand your frustration and share it. We had no idea the version of the video posted online would be edited, or blocked in certain countries.
Every fan is equally important to us no matter where you are in the world. We've been promised the right version of the video will be posted later tonight for everyone around the world.
Avenged Sevenfold will release their video for "Nightmare" today @ 11am on MTV2. However, MTV and Avenged Sevenfold have already put the video online. Enjoy!
This is the edited version, an unedited version will soon be available. Stay tuned!

Today, at 9am, the tickets for the UK trek of Avenged Sevenfold & Stone Sour went on pre-sale at Live Nation.
This is just a short message to make you all aware of the fact that Live Nation is an official seller for the UK tickets. I have already seen auctions on eBay, asking £125 for just two tickets.
Personally, do I not only think this is way too much for two tickets, seeing as the original price is £27.50/£29.50, I also want to point out that the tickets COULD be fake. I'm not saying they are, but they could be.
In conclusion: please be careful where you buy your tickets. This post is not meant negative towards eBay, I just want to make you all aware of the fact that some people do sell fake tickets (not just on the internet) for a lot of money and you don't want to spend your money on a worthless piece of paper.
